I don't hate clown or his site, but refusing to let Ati have this site in his sig becouse "we were talking s*** about him" is petty. Why does that matter, this was never created as a FOS. It's not about being another forum, it's about what was said about us. It may be petty, but it's reasonable. He just doesn't want to promote this place because of what was said. The off topic section and arguing ARENT EVEN SUPPOSED TO BE THE MAIN THING ABOUT THIS FORUM! And, still, he's not promoting it, I'm not stopping anyone from promoting Clows site here, am I? |

Multiple members immediately voiced their annoyance with it, and I was trying to keep everyone from piling up on you over it. I don't think I was being unreasonable by asking you to stop or at least make your own thread dedicated to the Japanese talk.
The number one thing I heard when people were voicing their opinions about what was wrong with our community before I became the Admin was that the piling on one member needs to stop. The tension seemed to cause everyone to be uneasy, and apparently Bane claims it was the reason he deleted his site. As the new Admin of FOS, it's my job to avoid past mistakes. For the community to work, when a staff member asks you to stop something, you stop it. That's not being power hungry, or over-controlling, that's how you keep everyone in line with the rest of the community.
Then I was asking you to stop advertising the site you're with currently, and you ignored that. At this point, my patience was running thin. I saw you on the shoutbox boasting about how you're advertising the site over at FOS. For most of the crap you guys seem to be talking about our community, you sure seem to rely on FOS for more members.
Also, I never said that Bane was talking s***. I said you, Cozza, Number and Xman were having your little anti-FOS party in the shoutbox and a couple of them were talking s***.
I am an Admin of the site, but I'm not running s*** without the rest of the community. There is no "anti Ati clique." There are people that you annoyed, and kept doing so even when you were asked to stop. If you can't behave, then you probably shouldn't be here, because we have to run things a little differently (at least until we slide into a more comfortable flow). We want you to come back, but Gremer and Who Cares? have been coming over here on their own power. That's proof that the community wants you with us, but we don't want you stirring up s***.
Bane, many of the members have made it clear that we want you back as well. I want you back. The s*** storm is over, and we're rebuilding. If you're getting the idea that you failed with FOS, or that anyone over at FOS thinks that, you're getting the wrong idea. We don't think you failed, we think you made a mistake. Mistakes can be forgiven. FOS can rebuild. We can't simply replace the members of the community.
Also, I was never pissed off. I don't hate anyone (Ati, for f*** sake you know I just like to give people s***, especially my friends). While I disagree with FOS's new direction to try and prevent the blunt truths, I'm doing what I think is best to accommodate the community and I have a good staff helping me.

Even though it's not all regarding me, I feel like I should say my two cents to get it through to ati that he's the one in the wrong here, so here I go: 1st paragraph: Clown wasn't being unreasonable. 2nd: The tension is a horrible thing. More on this later. 3rd: I was not given all of that information. Which further proves my point that ati was once again trying to impress people over here and show off, which I do not accept because he's better than that. Although I didn't originally agree with the decision of stopping ati from "promoting the site," I didn't have the knowledge that he was purposely showboating it and I fully agree with the decision of preventing ati from having it, because it seems like its main purpose was to start shit, once again. 4th: I once again figured as much, and even if it were true, I honestly wouldn't have cared. I've been told from a few people through pm that I've been getting bashed over there, and that's completely fine. I honestly don't care. I however do not think that anybody was just randomly "Oh, Bane was talking shit about us." It's just not who you guys are and as I've said, ati was trying to get a reaction out of me and it backfired. I don't know if this paragraph was to inform me of what really happened there or to tell ati that he was wrong, but I personally didn't believe it from the start. I however do not think Cozza was part of the anti-FOS party (maybe I'm wrong since I can't remember everybody or who said what), I just personally think he was trying to do good by giving those that were anti-FOS something. His heart in my opinion was in the right place, it just wasn't a good idea. 5th: No comment because I'll quite frankly just end up bashing certain people for certain things that have happened, and I'd rather not that happen because it's not their fault either. It's just the whole situation. 6th: I've been well informed of both the good and the bad and the mike conversations about me. Nothing against any of you guys or the idea (by the way, I fully support FOS), it's just not my thing right now. 7th: (continuation of 2nd paragraph) However, from what I've been told (which I admittedly have little knowledge to as I've personally tried to sway away from the subject and most, if not all forums right now for the most part unless I have a promise to fulfill) it has so far been the same exact way, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, it's just not my thing. On top of that, I have a lot of shit going on right now and probably took it out on the wrong people, but as of right now I just need to take a break and my mindset's saying I'm done completely. Maybe that'll change. I tend to change my mind a lot. However, for the time being I do have to respectfully decline the offer since I still like you guys and would rather leave on a good note (meaning the way I think of you guys) rather than my life and stress clouding the judgement of the bunch. Like I've said, I don't hate anybody there or anything (there's always an exception, as we all know), but the whole "no rules, be mature" thing didn't work out as intended the first time in my personal opinion, and I personally don't want to jump right back into it right now. I agree though, ati should go back because we all know he wants to. If there's anything I've got wrong about the site, feel free to say, as I've just been basing everything off from the few pms. Apparently some of those pms were wrong and some were right. I'm guessing there's a lot of misunderstandings due to everything that's been going on, understandably, so I'm sure that the pms that were wrong or just misinterpreted when it comes to certain things and I haven't changed my judgement on any thing so far, honestly. Whether the pms were good things about me or bad, I've tried to remain neutral on the whole thing for the most part. |

Well, I can say one thing about people talking sh*t about you.
The new forum was just created, tensions were high, and the security log thing. I'm sure that those who did say negative things about you either didn't really mean it or they eventually saw your side of the story. Either way, I can say without a doubt that nobody there hates you or would talk sh*t about you after hearing your side of the story.

What did number1jf, Cozza and Xman say? I said in the Shoutbox that they (Clown) were shit-talking Bane about how Bane deleted Gremer's account & made him a mod. then Bane deleted the FOS. At the time they were talking about that. I then called the site generic, which I now do regret as it looks great over there. Pretty sure that's all I said. |
