*The screen is black and then turns white. The WWE logo fades onto the screen and then fades out. The words "Proving Ground" come onto the screen. A man's voice seems to come from nowhere saying, "the next generation starts... NOW!"
The camera cuts to announcer's table.*
Rich Brennan: Hello and welcome to WWE Proving Ground, formerly NXT. My broadcast partners tonight are Jason Albert...
Jason Albert: Hey, Rich!
Rich Brennan: and Alex Riley.
Alex Riley: Happy to be here, Rich.
Rich Brennan: What do you guys think about the new name?
Jason Albert: I love the name and I'll tell you why, because it's true. In the WWE this is the place where you have to prove yourself to the GM and to the higher-ups. This really is the proving ground of the WWE.
Alex Riley: I agree with Jason completely. You have to prove you want to be here in the WWE.
Rich Brennan: Now, with that being said, I believe it's time to prepare for the first match of the evening.
*"Scorched Ops" by ROH starts to play and Jay Lethal comes onto the stage. He starts walking down the ramp while looking around. He goes up the steps and puts one foot on the top rope and one foot on second rope. He raises his left arm and points into the air.
He jumps over the top rope.*
*"Christcontrol" by Cancer Killing Gemini starts to play and Corey Graves comes on stage wearing a denim jacket without sleeves. He startes walking down the rope and goes next to the ringpost and leans on it, staring into the camera. He enters the ring and puts his fists next to eachother to show his tattoos on his knuckles. He takes off the jacket.*
Jay Lethal vs. Corey Graves
Graves and Lethal circle the ring and Graves dives at Lethal's legs but Lethal dodges and kneeling down and locks in a hammerlock. Graves rolls out of the hold and goes straight into a hammerlock of his own. Lethal rolls out of the hold and stands up and Graves gets on his knees before standing up. They circle the ring again.
They enter a collar and elbow tie up and Lethal transitions to a side headlock. Graves pulls Lethal back into the ropes and pushes him off. On the rebound Graves lays on his stomach and Lethal jumps over. Graves stands up and hits a shoulder block off the rebound.
Graves runs off the ropes and Lethal rolls onto his stomach, causing Graves to jump over and rebound off the ropes. Lethal gets up and performs a leapfrog over Graves and he continues running the ropes. Lethal turns around and hits Graves with a leg lariat. Lethal covers Graves.
*1.. Graves kicks out.*
Lethal picks Graves up lifts him into a suplex position. Lethal starts running and drops down, completing the suplex. Lethal exits the ring to the apron and waits for Graves to get to his feet. Lethal jumps onto the top rope and hits a springboard dropkick.
Lethal gets up and walks to Graves. He leans down and lifts Graves up and places him in the corner. Lethal pulls his hand back and hits a knife edge chop to the chest of Graves. He pulls Graves out of the corner and whips him off the ropes.
On the rebound, Lethal hits a hip toss and Graves goes to a seated position. Lethal performs and cartwheel and quickly hits a dropkick to the face. Lethal covers Graves.
*1...2. Graves kicks out.*
Lethal stands up and waits for Graves to get to his feet. Lethal runs off the ropes and goes for a clothesline but Graves hits a dropkick right to the knee which causes Lethal to kneel down. Graves runs off the ropes and kicks Lethal in the side of the head to knock him down. Graves grabs Lethal's leg and hits several kicks to the back of the knee.
Graves keeps hold of the leg and hits his knee to the back of Lethal's knee. He places the leg down and hits a knee drop on the knee. Graves keeps his knee on the leg while he uses his arms to wrench the leg. Graves stands up and stomps on the leg.
He lift Lethal up and grabs the leg again. He quickly takes Lethal down with a dragon screw and Graves keeps hold of the leg. He stands up and hits an elbow drop on the knee. Stands back up and hits a DDT on the leg.
Graves gets up and goes to the corner. Lethal crawls to the ropes and uses them to get to his feet. Lethal starts slowly limping towards Graves. Graves runs and hits a chop block to the front of the knee.
Graves walks up to Lethal and quickly locks in a single leg boston crab to the injured leg. Lethal begins to panic. He teases the to tap out but he puts his face in the mat and puts his hands on his head. Lethal uses his arms and starts crawling towards the rope.
He reaches out and is able to grab the bottome rope but Graves doesn't let go. The ref begins the 5 count. Graves lets go at the count of 4. Graves backs into the corner.
Lethal uses the opposite corner to get to his feet and he tries to keep the weight off his injured leg. He limps out of the corner. Graves runs at him and goes for another chop block but Lethal manages to move out the way, causing Graves to collide with the bottom turnbuckle. Lethal waits for Graves to get up.
Lethal grabs Graves and hits a STO backbreaker onto his injured leg which causes him to stop and with Graves draped his leg. Lethal gathers himself and hits a reverse STO, completing the Lethal Combination. He pins Graves.
*1...2.. Graves barely kicks out.*
Lethal gets up and stands on one leg and waits for Graves to stand up. Lethal gets behind him and sets up for the Release Dragon Suplex but Graves throws his head back into Lethal's nose. Graves turns around and lifts Lethal onto his shoulders in a fireman's carry. Graves quickly turns it into a single knee backbreaker.
Graves goes to the legs of Lethal and latches on Lucky 13 (Inverted Figure Four Leglock). Lethal trys crawling to the ropes but can't move. He teases tapping out by he has no choice and Taps Out.

Rich Brennan: What a huge win for Corey Graves!
Jason Albert: I like what Graves did. He worked the leg, focused on the body part, that's very smart on Graves' part.
Alex Riley: That's something you don't really see anymore and it's nice having a younger guy use an old school technique like that.
Rich Brennan: I completely agree. Right now it's time fore us to take a commercial break and you will see more Proving Ground action when we return.

*The show comes back to The Ascension squatting on what looks like a scaffold. The room is dark and there is a spotlight facing up at The Ascension. Konnor is on the right and Viktor is on the left. Viktor is wearing black Cutting Goggles with red lenses.*
Konnor: We cause disaster.
Viktor: We cause pain.
Konnor: We cause fear.
Viktor: We cause tragedy.
Konnor: We do many things. We make our enimies crumble beneath their feet. We make them fall.
Viktor: And when things fall... another thing rises. We are the ones that rise... everyone else falls.
Konnor: Who will be the next victim? Destiny decides that. It could be anybody.
Viktor: We find out now!
*Viktor takes off his goggles. He hangs them over the edge of the scaffold and drops them onto the spotlight and it breaks it, turning the room pitch black. The camera cuts to ring side.*
*"Rebellion" by CFO$ plays and the lights go out with white lights flashing. The camera shows Konnor and Viktor squatting down. They stand up and start walking down the ramp. Konnor enters the ring first by sliding in.
Viktor goes to the side of the ring and gets on the slide into the ring backwards. Viktor stops in the middle of the ring, still down. Konnor steps over him and they look into the camera. They go to their respective corner.*
*"T.N.T" by AC/DC starts playing and Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas come out on stage. They look at eachother and look back at the ring. They start walking down the ramp. Benjamin points towards the Ascension.
Haas slides into the ring first. Benjamin goes up the steps and hops over the top rope. Haas and Benjamin go to opposite corners and they look at the crowd. Haas climbs down to the canvas while Benjamin jumps down.
They go to their respective corners.*
The Ascension vs. The World's Greatest Tag Team
Benjamin and Viktor start the match. They circle the ring and enter a collar and elbow and Benjamin quickly transitions to a waist lock but Viktor quickly hits a back elbow to the face and Benjamin lets go. Viktor hits Benjamin with a kick to the gut. Viktor grabs Benjamin and whips him into the corner.
He walks up to him and hits a double-handed chop to the chest of Benjamin. Benjamin grabs his chest and falls to his knees. Viktor grabs him by the head and shoves him back into a corner but in a seated position. Viktor stomps on him repeatedly and backs away.
He walks back to Benjamin headbutts him on the forehead. He grabs Benjamin and puts him in a side headlock. He drags Benjamin to his repective corner and places him in the corner. Viktor kicks him the gut over and over until Benjamin goes to a seated position.
He tags in Konnor before doing a stomp to Benjamin. He exits the ring. Konnor backs up a little a hits a kick to the chest of Benjamin. He backs up again and hits another kick. He backs up again and hits one last kick to the chest.
Konnor backs up while Viktor reaches over the ropes and brings Benjamin to his feet. Konnor runs and hits a body avalanche on Benjamin. He grabs Benjamin by the back of the head and throws him down. Konnor tags Viktor back in.
Viktor goes to lift Benjamin up but Benjamin punches Viktor in the gut and gets up. He grabs Viktor and hits a northern light suplex. He gets up and drags Viktor to Haas. Benjamin tags in Haas.
Benjamin satys in the ring as Haas drapes Viktor over the top rope. Haas grabs Viktor's feet and lifts them onto his shoulders. Benjamin runs off the ropes and they hit the Broken Arrow (Leapfrog Body Guillotine). Benjamin exits the ring.
Haas drags Viktor away from the ropes and covers him.
*1... Viktor kicks out.*
Haas picks Viktor up and whips him off the ropes sets up for a back body drop but Viktor kicks him in the chest. Viktor goes to whip Haas off the ropesbut Haas reverses with a whip of his own. Haas successfully hits a back body drop. Haas places Viktor in a seated position.
Haas backs up and hits a shoot kick to the back. He picks Viktor up and hits an exploder suplex. Haas tags in Benjamin. Haas exits the ring while Benjamin moves to a different spot on the apron and waits for Viktor to get to his feet.
Benjamin jumps onto the top rope and hits a springboard clothesline. Benjamin quickly tags Haas back in but Benjamin stays in the ring. Haas picks Viktor up and puts him in a waist lock. Benjamin hits Viktor with a superkick and Haas hits a bridging german suplex.
*1...2.. Konnor breaks up the pin with a running elbow drop to Haas.*
Benjamin runs into the ring and goes to hit a superkick to Konnor but Konnor catches the foot. Konnor turns Benjamin around and hits a russian legsweep. He kicks Benjamin under the bottom rope. Konnor goes to the apron.
Viktor gets up and tags Konnor in. Konnor walks to Haas and picks him up. He puts Haas in a side headlock. Konnor hits a side headlock takeover and he rolls into another one and then rolls into one more.
Konnor stands up. Konnor goes to the corner and gets onto the second rope and he waits for Haas to get up. He dives down with shoulder block. He covers Haas.
*1...2.. Haas kicks out.*
Konnor stands up. He looks in the corner and sees Benjamin get on the apron. Konnor runs and hits a single leg dropkick to knock Benjamin back down. Konnor goes to Viktor and tags him in.
Viktor quickly goes to the corner and Konnor stays in his. Haas gets to his feet while facing Viktor. Both Konnor and Viktor run and hit the Fall of Man (Running legsweep (Konnor)/Flying European Uppercut (Viktor) Combination). Viktor covers Haas.
*1...2...3.*
WINNERS by PINFALL - The Ascension
*Viktor stays in the pin while the lights go out and white lights starts flashing. Konnor walks to Viktor and puts his hands on Viktor's shoulders. They stare into the camera. The camera cuts to the backstage area where Devin Taylor is standing with a mic.*
Devin Taylor:Ladies and gentleman, I'm Devin Taylor and my guest at this time is Sami Zayn.
*Zayn walks on screen in his in-ring gear.*
Sami Zayn: Hey, Devin.
Devin Taylor: Hey, Sami. What are your thoughts on the changes that have been made to NXT, now Proving Ground?
Sami Zayn: Well, you would think it really wouldn't be much of a change considering it's still the same crowd but it actually a pretty big change. Now, it feels like we have to prove ourselves again to the crowd. I think that's a good thing.
Devin Taylor: Thank you, Sami.
*The camera cuts to the announcer's table.*
Rich Brennan: Ladies and gentleman, we've just been informed that Sami Zayn will be in action in our main event with WWE's newset signing... Kevin Steen. What do you guys think of that?
Jason Albert: Well, Kevin Steen is known as "Mr. Wrestling" and I'll tell you now that's not just a nickname, it is a fact. Both men are amazing and this match will be great, but I see Steen going out with the victory.
Alex Riley: I'd have to disagree, Jason. You were right about both men being amazing and that this match will be great but I see Sami getting the victory.
Jason Albert: We'll just have to wait and see.
Rich Brennan: That match will be on for the ages. Next, we will be focusing on the Divas division and we will be joined by Renee Young.

Rich Brennan: Welcome back, everyone. We have been joined by Renee Young. How are you, Renee?
Renee Young: I'm good Rich and I can't wait to call this match.
*"Hot Mess" by Christy Hemme & Dale Oliver starts playing and Taryn Tarrell walks onto the stage. She raises her arms before walking down the ramp. She high fives fans on her way to the ring and she slides into the ring. She climbs onto the second rope in the corner and raises her arms again before getting down from the corner.*
*"Miss Murder" by AFI starts playing and LuFisto walks onto the stage. She looks around the arena before walking down the ramp. When she gets to the ring she walks up the steps and enters the ring.*
Taryn Terrell vs. LuFisto
They meet in the center of the ring and Taryn hits a forearm to the face of LuFisto. LuFisto rubs her chin before hitting Taryn with a forearm of her own. LuFisto grabs Taryn and whips here off the ropes. LuFisto sets up for a back body drop but Taryn performs a schoolgirl pin off the rebound.
*1. LuFisto.*
They both get up and LuFisto runs at Taryn but Taryn catches her with an inverted atomic drop and LuFisto stays on her feet. Taryn runs off the ropes and hits a flying clothesline. Taryn mounts on top of LuFisto and hits several punches to the face. Taryn lifts LuFisto to her feet.
Tayn goes for a monkey flip but LuFisto grabs Taryn by the legs, causing Taryn to land on her back. LuFisto drags her close to the corner by the legs. LuFisto performs a catapult to the corner by Taryn jumped onto the second rope and quickly climbed to the top rope. Taryn turns around while LuFisto gets to her feet.
Taryn goes for a Diving Crossbody but LuFisto catches her. LuFisto transitions Taryn onto her shoulder. She runs and drives Taryn into the corner and Taryn falls to a seated position. LuFisto hits several stomps to the stomach of Taryn.
LuFisto runs off the ropes and connects with a boot to the face. She grabs Taryn and pushes her Taryn to the center of the ring. She covers Taryn.
*1... Taryn kicks out.*
They both get up and Taryn backs into the corner. LuFisto runs at Taryn but Tary hits a drop-toe hold and LuFisto hits her chin on the second turnbuckle. LuFisto gets to her feet while holding her jaw and turns around. Taryn kicks her in the gut and connects with a snap suplex.
Taryn picks LuFisto up and connects with a bridging northern lights suplex.
*1...2. LuFisto kicks out.*
They both get up and Taryn goes for a clothesline but LuFisto ducks causing Taryn to spin around. LuFisto grabs Taryn and hits a bridging german suplex.
*1...2. Taryn kicks out.*
They both get up and Taryn goes for the Jumping Cutter but LuFisto catches her in LuFisto's Law (Rear Naked Choke). Taryn struggles but has no choice but to Tap Out!

Renee Young: Both these ladies are great and they showed it tonight.
Jason Albert: I wish the match went longer but I think it was great for what it was. Both ladies will do very well here in the WWE.

Rich Brennan: Now it's time that we move on to the main event where we will see Sami Zayn face "Mr. Wrestling" Kevin Steen.

*"Worlds Apart" by CFO$ starts playing. Sami Zayn walks onto the stage and he throws his right arm into the air. Zayn walks down the ramp. He walks up the steps and quickly enters the ring. He runs and throws his right arm into the air again.*
*"Unsettling Differences" by Blue Smock Nancy begins to play. Kevin Steen slowly walks onto the stage. He looks into the crowd before walking down the ramp. He walks up the steps and continues walking on the apron.
He looks into the crowd before entering the ring. He looks right at Sami.*
Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Steen
They circle the ring before shaking hands and they continue circling the ring. They enter a collar and elbow tie up and Steen quickly transitions to a waist lock. He lifts Zayn up for a german suplex but Zayn performs a victory roll but Steen keeps rolling. Steen deadlifts Zayn for another german suplex attempt but Zayn reaches back and grabs Steen by the head.
Zayn falls to his knees and performs a snapmare to Steen. They both get up and stare at eachother. Steen grabs Zayn by the arm and whips him off the ropes. Steen sets up for a back body drop but Zayn jumps over him and performs a sunset flip pin.
*1.. Steen rolls backwards and performs a elevated pin.*
*1.. Zayn puts his hands on Steen head and pushes him into a sunset pin.*
*1.. Steen rolls into a rana pin.*
*1.. Zayn kicks out.*
They both get up again. Zayn goes to whip Steen off the ropes but Steen reverses with a whip of his own. Steen locks in a sleeper hold off the rebound. They step foward and Steen goes for a sleeper suplex but Zayn lands on his feet and Steen falls to his back.
Zayn moves to Steens side and hits a standing moonsault. Zayn picks Steen and throws him to through the ropes and to the floor. Zayn gets onto the apron and waits for Steen to get up. Zayn jumps and performs a split-legged moonsault to the outside and he lands on top of Steen.
Zayn quickly stands up and slides into the ring. He waits for Steen to get up again. Zayn runs off the ropes and jumps over the ropes and hits a somersault plancha onto Steen. Both men are down and ref begins the count.
Both men start moving moving at the count of 4. Zayn crawls to the side of the ring while Steen uses the apron to get to his feet. Zayn finally gets to his feet. Zayn runs and dives trough the turnbuckles but gets caught with a superkick by Steen.
Zayn lifelessly falls to the floor. Steen picks him up and rolls him into the ring. Steen rolls into the ring and pins Zayn.
*1...2. Kickout by Zayn.*
Steen keeps up while Zayn stays down. Steen gets next to Zayn's head. He quickly hits a somersault legdrop and gets back up. He runs off the ropes and performs a senton on Zayn.
He picks Zayn back up. He he lifts Zayn up and sets up for the F-Cinq (Fireman's Carry Facebuster) but Zayn quickly drops behind him and hits the half and half suplex. Both of them are down and the ref starts the 10 count.
*1,2,3,4,5...*
Both men crawl to the ropes on opposite sides. The stand up using the ropes. They walk up to eachother and Stewing kicks Zayn in the gut. Steen grabs Zayn and pushes him to a seated position in the corner.
Steen runs to the opposite corner and then runs back and connects with a cannonball in the corner. Steen rolls backwards and gets to his feet. He pulls Zayn out of the corner and picks him up by the head but Zayn hits a knife edge chop to Steen. Zayn quickly hits an exploder suplex into the corner.
Zayn drags Steen away from the corner. Zayn steps over him and steps onto the apron. Zayn climbs to the top rope. Zayn goes for a 450° splash but Steen gets his knees up.
Steen gets up and steps onto the apron to climb to the top rope. Steen dives down and hits a high-angle swanton bomb. Steen lays his back over Zayn for the pin.
*1...2. Zayn turns it into a crucifix pin.*
*1...2. Steen rolls backwards out of the pin.*
Steen grabs Zayn by the legs and pushes him which causes Zayn to roll backwards onto his feet. Steen kicks him in the gut and sets up for the Package Piledriver. He lifts Zayn up but Zayn quickly turns it into a sunset flip powerbomb into a pin.
*1...2.. Steen kicks out.*
Both men get up. Steen runs at Zayn but Zayn connects with a leg lariat. Steen quickly gets up and runs at Zayn but gets taken down with an arm drag. Steen quickly gets up again only to take another arm drag.
Steen quickly gets up again and runs at Zayn but Zayn grabs him by the arm and spins around the back of Steen and hits and arm drag again. Zayn picks Steen up and goes for an irish whip but Steen reverses with a whip of his own. On the rebound Steen tosses Zayn into the air but Zayn counters with a dropkick. Zayn goes to pick Steen but Steen pushes him away.
Steen kicks Zayn in the gut and quickly hits the Steenbreaker (Pumphandle Neckbreaker) and pins Zayn.
*1...2.. Zayn barely manages to kickout.*
Steen picks Zayn up and goes to whip him into the corner but Zayn reverses with a whip of his own and and Steen goes back first into the corner. Zayn runs and hits Steen with the Helluva Kick (Running Corner Big Boot). Steen starts falling forward but Zayn quickly lifts him up and drops him with the Spike Brainbuster. Both men are down.
Zayn rolls onto his stomach and drapes his arm over Steen.
*1...2...3!*

*The camera cuts to the announcer's table.*
Jason Albert: What a main event!
Alex Riley: I knew Zayn would win, I called it, but Steen put up one hell of an effort.
*The camera cuts back to the ring. Zayn is leaning against the corner. Steen walks up to Zayn. Zayn looks at Steen with a confused look on his face.
Steen sticks his hand out towards Zayn. Zayn takes Steen hand and they shake hands. Steen turns around and exits the ring. He walks up the ramp and stops at the stage.
Steen turns around and points at Zayn while smiling. Zayn points back.*

Graves gets up and goes to the corner. Lethal crawls to the ropes and uses them to get to his feet. Lethal starts slowly limping towards Graves. Graves runs and hits a chop block to the front of the knee.
Graves walks up to Lethal and quickly locks in a single leg boston crab to the injured leg. Lethal begins to panic. He teases the to tap out but he puts his face in the mat and puts his hands on his head. Lethal uses his arms and starts crawling towards the rope.
He reaches out and is able to grab the bottome rope but Graves doesn't let go. The ref begins the 5 count. Graves lets go at the count of 4. Graves backs into the corner.
Lethal uses the opposite corner to get to his feet and he tries to keep the weight off his injured leg. He limps out of the corner. Graves runs at him and goes for another chop block but Lethal manages to move out the way, causing Graves to collide with the bottom turnbuckle. Lethal waits for Graves to get up.
Lethal grabs Graves and hits a STO backbreaker onto his injured leg which causes him to stop and with Graves draped his leg. Lethal gathers himself and hits a reverse STO, completing the Lethal Combination. He pins Graves.
*1...2.. Graves barely kicks out.*
Lethal gets up and stands on one leg and waits for Graves to stand up. Lethal gets behind him and sets up for the Release Dragon Suplex but Graves throws his head back into Lethal's nose. Graves turns around and lifts Lethal onto his shoulders in a fireman's carry. Graves quickly turns it into a single knee backbreaker.
Graves goes to the legs of Lethal and latches on Lucky 13 (Inverted Figure Four Leglock). Lethal trys crawling to the ropes but can't move. He teases tapping out by he has no choice and Taps Out.

Rich Brennan: What a huge win for Corey Graves!
Jason Albert: I like what Graves did. He worked the leg, focused on the body part, that's very smart on Graves' part.
Alex Riley: That's something you don't really see anymore and it's nice having a younger guy use an old school technique like that.
Rich Brennan: I completely agree. Right now it's time fore us to take a commercial break and you will see more Proving Ground action when we return.

*The show comes back to The Ascension squatting on what looks like a scaffold. The room is dark and there is a spotlight facing up at The Ascension. Konnor is on the right and Viktor is on the left. Viktor is wearing black Cutting Goggles with red lenses.*
Konnor: We cause disaster.
Viktor: We cause pain.
Konnor: We cause fear.
Viktor: We cause tragedy.
Konnor: We do many things. We make our enimies crumble beneath their feet. We make them fall.
Viktor: And when things fall... another thing rises. We are the ones that rise... everyone else falls.
Konnor: Who will be the next victim? Destiny decides that. It could be anybody.
Viktor: We find out now!
*Viktor takes off his goggles. He hangs them over the edge of the scaffold and drops them onto the spotlight and it breaks it, turning the room pitch black. The camera cuts to ring side.*
*"Rebellion" by CFO$ plays and the lights go out with white lights flashing. The camera shows Konnor and Viktor squatting down. They stand up and start walking down the ramp. Konnor enters the ring first by sliding in.
Viktor goes to the side of the ring and gets on the slide into the ring backwards. Viktor stops in the middle of the ring, still down. Konnor steps over him and they look into the camera. They go to their respective corner.*
*"T.N.T" by AC/DC starts playing and Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas come out on stage. They look at eachother and look back at the ring. They start walking down the ramp. Benjamin points towards the Ascension.
Haas slides into the ring first. Benjamin goes up the steps and hops over the top rope. Haas and Benjamin go to opposite corners and they look at the crowd. Haas climbs down to the canvas while Benjamin jumps down.
They go to their respective corners.*
The Ascension vs. The World's Greatest Tag Team
Benjamin and Viktor start the match. They circle the ring and enter a collar and elbow and Benjamin quickly transitions to a waist lock but Viktor quickly hits a back elbow to the face and Benjamin lets go. Viktor hits Benjamin with a kick to the gut. Viktor grabs Benjamin and whips him into the corner.
He walks up to him and hits a double-handed chop to the chest of Benjamin. Benjamin grabs his chest and falls to his knees. Viktor grabs him by the head and shoves him back into a corner but in a seated position. Viktor stomps on him repeatedly and backs away.
He walks back to Benjamin headbutts him on the forehead. He grabs Benjamin and puts him in a side headlock. He drags Benjamin to his repective corner and places him in the corner. Viktor kicks him the gut over and over until Benjamin goes to a seated position.
He tags in Konnor before doing a stomp to Benjamin. He exits the ring. Konnor backs up a little a hits a kick to the chest of Benjamin. He backs up again and hits another kick. He backs up again and hits one last kick to the chest.
Konnor backs up while Viktor reaches over the ropes and brings Benjamin to his feet. Konnor runs and hits a body avalanche on Benjamin. He grabs Benjamin by the back of the head and throws him down. Konnor tags Viktor back in.
Viktor goes to lift Benjamin up but Benjamin punches Viktor in the gut and gets up. He grabs Viktor and hits a northern light suplex. He gets up and drags Viktor to Haas. Benjamin tags in Haas.
Benjamin satys in the ring as Haas drapes Viktor over the top rope. Haas grabs Viktor's feet and lifts them onto his shoulders. Benjamin runs off the ropes and they hit the Broken Arrow (Leapfrog Body Guillotine). Benjamin exits the ring.
Haas drags Viktor away from the ropes and covers him.
*1... Viktor kicks out.*
Haas picks Viktor up and whips him off the ropes sets up for a back body drop but Viktor kicks him in the chest. Viktor goes to whip Haas off the ropesbut Haas reverses with a whip of his own. Haas successfully hits a back body drop. Haas places Viktor in a seated position.
Haas backs up and hits a shoot kick to the back. He picks Viktor up and hits an exploder suplex. Haas tags in Benjamin. Haas exits the ring while Benjamin moves to a different spot on the apron and waits for Viktor to get to his feet.
Benjamin jumps onto the top rope and hits a springboard clothesline. Benjamin quickly tags Haas back in but Benjamin stays in the ring. Haas picks Viktor up and puts him in a waist lock. Benjamin hits Viktor with a superkick and Haas hits a bridging german suplex.
*1...2.. Konnor breaks up the pin with a running elbow drop to Haas.*
Benjamin runs into the ring and goes to hit a superkick to Konnor but Konnor catches the foot. Konnor turns Benjamin around and hits a russian legsweep. He kicks Benjamin under the bottom rope. Konnor goes to the apron.
Viktor gets up and tags Konnor in. Konnor walks to Haas and picks him up. He puts Haas in a side headlock. Konnor hits a side headlock takeover and he rolls into another one and then rolls into one more.
Konnor stands up. Konnor goes to the corner and gets onto the second rope and he waits for Haas to get up. He dives down with shoulder block. He covers Haas.
*1...2.. Haas kicks out.*
Konnor stands up. He looks in the corner and sees Benjamin get on the apron. Konnor runs and hits a single leg dropkick to knock Benjamin back down. Konnor goes to Viktor and tags him in.
Viktor quickly goes to the corner and Konnor stays in his. Haas gets to his feet while facing Viktor. Both Konnor and Viktor run and hit the Fall of Man (Running legsweep (Konnor)/Flying European Uppercut (Viktor) Combination). Viktor covers Haas.

*Viktor stays in the pin while the lights go out and white lights starts flashing. Konnor walks to Viktor and puts his hands on Viktor's shoulders. They stare into the camera. The camera cuts to the backstage area where Devin Taylor is standing with a mic.*
Devin Taylor:Ladies and gentleman, I'm Devin Taylor and my guest at this time is Sami Zayn.
*Zayn walks on screen in his in-ring gear.*
Sami Zayn: Hey, Devin.
Devin Taylor: Hey, Sami. What are your thoughts on the changes that have been made to NXT, now Proving Ground?
Sami Zayn: Well, you would think it really wouldn't be much of a change considering it's still the same crowd but it actually a pretty big change. Now, it feels like we have to prove ourselves again to the crowd. I think that's a good thing.
Devin Taylor: Thank you, Sami.
*The camera cuts to the announcer's table.*
Rich Brennan: Ladies and gentleman, we've just been informed that Sami Zayn will be in action in our main event with WWE's newset signing... Kevin Steen. What do you guys think of that?
Jason Albert: Well, Kevin Steen is known as "Mr. Wrestling" and I'll tell you now that's not just a nickname, it is a fact. Both men are amazing and this match will be great, but I see Steen going out with the victory.
Alex Riley: I'd have to disagree, Jason. You were right about both men being amazing and that this match will be great but I see Sami getting the victory.
Jason Albert: We'll just have to wait and see.
Rich Brennan: That match will be on for the ages. Next, we will be focusing on the Divas division and we will be joined by Renee Young.

*"Hot Mess" by Christy Hemme & Dale Oliver starts playing and Taryn Tarrell walks onto the stage. She raises her arms before walking down the ramp. She high fives fans on her way to the ring and she slides into the ring. She climbs onto the second rope in the corner and raises her arms again before getting down from the corner.*
*"Miss Murder" by AFI starts playing and LuFisto walks onto the stage. She looks around the arena before walking down the ramp. When she gets to the ring she walks up the steps and enters the ring.*
Taryn Terrell vs. LuFisto
They meet in the center of the ring and Taryn hits a forearm to the face of LuFisto. LuFisto rubs her chin before hitting Taryn with a forearm of her own. LuFisto grabs Taryn and whips here off the ropes. LuFisto sets up for a back body drop but Taryn performs a schoolgirl pin off the rebound.
*1. LuFisto.*
They both get up and LuFisto runs at Taryn but Taryn catches her with an inverted atomic drop and LuFisto stays on her feet. Taryn runs off the ropes and hits a flying clothesline. Taryn mounts on top of LuFisto and hits several punches to the face. Taryn lifts LuFisto to her feet.
Tayn goes for a monkey flip but LuFisto grabs Taryn by the legs, causing Taryn to land on her back. LuFisto drags her close to the corner by the legs. LuFisto performs a catapult to the corner by Taryn jumped onto the second rope and quickly climbed to the top rope. Taryn turns around while LuFisto gets to her feet.
Taryn goes for a Diving Crossbody but LuFisto catches her. LuFisto transitions Taryn onto her shoulder. She runs and drives Taryn into the corner and Taryn falls to a seated position. LuFisto hits several stomps to the stomach of Taryn.
LuFisto runs off the ropes and connects with a boot to the face. She grabs Taryn and pushes her Taryn to the center of the ring. She covers Taryn.
*1... Taryn kicks out.*
They both get up and Taryn backs into the corner. LuFisto runs at Taryn but Tary hits a drop-toe hold and LuFisto hits her chin on the second turnbuckle. LuFisto gets to her feet while holding her jaw and turns around. Taryn kicks her in the gut and connects with a snap suplex.
Taryn picks LuFisto up and connects with a bridging northern lights suplex.
*1...2. LuFisto kicks out.*
They both get up and Taryn goes for a clothesline but LuFisto ducks causing Taryn to spin around. LuFisto grabs Taryn and hits a bridging german suplex.
*1...2. Taryn kicks out.*
They both get up and Taryn goes for the Jumping Cutter but LuFisto catches her in LuFisto's Law (Rear Naked Choke). Taryn struggles but has no choice but to Tap Out!

Jason Albert: I wish the match went longer but I think it was great for what it was. Both ladies will do very well here in the WWE.

*"Worlds Apart" by CFO$ starts playing. Sami Zayn walks onto the stage and he throws his right arm into the air. Zayn walks down the ramp. He walks up the steps and quickly enters the ring. He runs and throws his right arm into the air again.*
*"Unsettling Differences" by Blue Smock Nancy begins to play. Kevin Steen slowly walks onto the stage. He looks into the crowd before walking down the ramp. He walks up the steps and continues walking on the apron.
He looks into the crowd before entering the ring. He looks right at Sami.*
Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Steen
They circle the ring before shaking hands and they continue circling the ring. They enter a collar and elbow tie up and Steen quickly transitions to a waist lock. He lifts Zayn up for a german suplex but Zayn performs a victory roll but Steen keeps rolling. Steen deadlifts Zayn for another german suplex attempt but Zayn reaches back and grabs Steen by the head.
Zayn falls to his knees and performs a snapmare to Steen. They both get up and stare at eachother. Steen grabs Zayn by the arm and whips him off the ropes. Steen sets up for a back body drop but Zayn jumps over him and performs a sunset flip pin.
*1.. Steen rolls backwards and performs a elevated pin.*
*1.. Zayn puts his hands on Steen head and pushes him into a sunset pin.*
*1.. Steen rolls into a rana pin.*
*1.. Zayn kicks out.*
They both get up again. Zayn goes to whip Steen off the ropes but Steen reverses with a whip of his own. Steen locks in a sleeper hold off the rebound. They step foward and Steen goes for a sleeper suplex but Zayn lands on his feet and Steen falls to his back.
Zayn moves to Steens side and hits a standing moonsault. Zayn picks Steen and throws him to through the ropes and to the floor. Zayn gets onto the apron and waits for Steen to get up. Zayn jumps and performs a split-legged moonsault to the outside and he lands on top of Steen.
Zayn quickly stands up and slides into the ring. He waits for Steen to get up again. Zayn runs off the ropes and jumps over the ropes and hits a somersault plancha onto Steen. Both men are down and ref begins the count.
Both men start moving moving at the count of 4. Zayn crawls to the side of the ring while Steen uses the apron to get to his feet. Zayn finally gets to his feet. Zayn runs and dives trough the turnbuckles but gets caught with a superkick by Steen.
Zayn lifelessly falls to the floor. Steen picks him up and rolls him into the ring. Steen rolls into the ring and pins Zayn.
*1...2. Kickout by Zayn.*
Steen keeps up while Zayn stays down. Steen gets next to Zayn's head. He quickly hits a somersault legdrop and gets back up. He runs off the ropes and performs a senton on Zayn.
He picks Zayn back up. He he lifts Zayn up and sets up for the F-Cinq (Fireman's Carry Facebuster) but Zayn quickly drops behind him and hits the half and half suplex. Both of them are down and the ref starts the 10 count.
*1,2,3,4,5...*
Both men crawl to the ropes on opposite sides. The stand up using the ropes. They walk up to eachother and Stewing kicks Zayn in the gut. Steen grabs Zayn and pushes him to a seated position in the corner.
Steen runs to the opposite corner and then runs back and connects with a cannonball in the corner. Steen rolls backwards and gets to his feet. He pulls Zayn out of the corner and picks him up by the head but Zayn hits a knife edge chop to Steen. Zayn quickly hits an exploder suplex into the corner.
Zayn drags Steen away from the corner. Zayn steps over him and steps onto the apron. Zayn climbs to the top rope. Zayn goes for a 450° splash but Steen gets his knees up.
Steen gets up and steps onto the apron to climb to the top rope. Steen dives down and hits a high-angle swanton bomb. Steen lays his back over Zayn for the pin.
*1...2. Zayn turns it into a crucifix pin.*
*1...2. Steen rolls backwards out of the pin.*
Steen grabs Zayn by the legs and pushes him which causes Zayn to roll backwards onto his feet. Steen kicks him in the gut and sets up for the Package Piledriver. He lifts Zayn up but Zayn quickly turns it into a sunset flip powerbomb into a pin.
*1...2.. Steen kicks out.*
Both men get up. Steen runs at Zayn but Zayn connects with a leg lariat. Steen quickly gets up and runs at Zayn but gets taken down with an arm drag. Steen quickly gets up again only to take another arm drag.
Steen quickly gets up again and runs at Zayn but Zayn grabs him by the arm and spins around the back of Steen and hits and arm drag again. Zayn picks Steen up and goes for an irish whip but Steen reverses with a whip of his own. On the rebound Steen tosses Zayn into the air but Zayn counters with a dropkick. Zayn goes to pick Steen but Steen pushes him away.
Steen kicks Zayn in the gut and quickly hits the Steenbreaker (Pumphandle Neckbreaker) and pins Zayn.
*1...2.. Zayn barely manages to kickout.*
Steen picks Zayn up and goes to whip him into the corner but Zayn reverses with a whip of his own and and Steen goes back first into the corner. Zayn runs and hits Steen with the Helluva Kick (Running Corner Big Boot). Steen starts falling forward but Zayn quickly lifts him up and drops him with the Spike Brainbuster. Both men are down.
Zayn rolls onto his stomach and drapes his arm over Steen.
*1...2...3!*

Jason Albert: What a main event!
Alex Riley: I knew Zayn would win, I called it, but Steen put up one hell of an effort.
*The camera cuts back to the ring. Zayn is leaning against the corner. Steen walks up to Zayn. Zayn looks at Steen with a confused look on his face.
Steen sticks his hand out towards Zayn. Zayn takes Steen hand and they shake hands. Steen turns around and exits the ring. He walks up the ramp and stops at the stage.
Steen turns around and points at Zayn while smiling. Zayn points back.*
Rich Brennan: Ladies and gentleman, that's all the time we have. Join us next week on WWE Proving Ground.
