*The screen is black and then turns white. The WWE logo fades onto the screen and then fades out. The words "Proving Ground" come onto the screen. A man's voice seems to come from nowhere saying, "the next generation starts... NOW!"

The camera cuts to announcer's table.*

Rich Brennan: Ladies and gentleman, welcome to WWE Proving Ground. My broadcast partners tonight are former NXT Season 2 rookie, Byron Saxton...

Byron Saxton: Hello, Rich.

Rich Brennan: and current High Voltage interviewer, Renee Young.

Renee Young: Hi, Rich. I'm very happy to be here tonight.

Rich Brennan: Now everyone, we need to talk about last week. Last week it seemed like we saw a new side to Corey Graves. He was very agressive and repeatedly attacked the leg of Jay Lethal, what do you guys think is going on?

Byron Saxton: Well, we know Graves was out of action for a very long time due to a concussion. I think he was just letting everyone know that he is at 100% and that he is back and will be back at the top.

Renee Young: That's a possiblity but I feel as though there might be more going on. Maybe he has a problem with Jay Lethal because it seemed like Graves was trying to take him out.

Rich Brennan: I can see both sid-

*"Christcontrol" by Cancer Killing Gemini starts to play, interrupting Rich Brennan. Corey Graves walks onto the stage with mic in hand. Graves walks down the ramp and walks to the ringpost. He puts his arm through the ringpost and leans on it.

Graves gets onto the apron and puts his leg through the ropes. Graves enters the ring without using his hands. Graves walks to the center of the ring and looks around.*

Corey Graves: You see those commentators? They've been saying things. They've been saying I showed a new side. What you saw last week wasn't new, it was just... me.

It doesn't matter if you've seen that side before but what does matter is that, that side has always been there. One thing that they said was true and it was something Byron Saxton said. I am back and I am at 100% and I will take back the spot that was taken from me. Last week, in my match against Jay Lethal, I was sending a message.

Jay received that message when he was told he couldn't compete tonight because of an injured leg. My message that I'm trying to send is that people deserve to feel the life I've been living for the last few months. I was laying on the couch in my apartment, watching as people were being given the opportunities I was supposed to have! Well, now all of them will be the ones laying at home, watching me rise to the top and be where I am meant to be.

*"Scorched Ops" by ROH starts playing. Jay Lethal comes onto the stage while using crutches. He has an ankle brace on his foot and he has a mic.*

Jay Lethal: Corey, I'm sorry to interrupt your sob story but I've been wanting to say something to you. Last week you attacked my leg over and over and you put me in that submission, and now I can't compete. I was told I can't be in a match tonight... but they didn't say I couldn't be at ringside. Earlier today was I able to talk to our GM, William Regal.

I asked him if I could choose your opponent for tonight and he said yes.

*Jay turns his head to the entrance way.*

Jay Lethal: Come on out, man.

*"The Machine Gun Ver. 2" by New Japan Pro Wrestling" starts playing and Karl Anderson walks onto the stage. Anderson shakes Lethal's hand before walking down the ramp. Lethal slowly follows him. Anderson slides into the ring.

Corey Graves vs. Karl Anderson

Graves and Anderson circle the ring and Anderson quickly places Graves in a wrist lock. Anderson ducks under Graves' arm, wringing the arm. Graves performes a forward roll and follows up with backwards roll, loosening Anderson's grip. Graves transitions behind Anderson into a hammerlock.

Graves reaches down to Anderson's ankle and he trips Anderson. Graves places his foot on the back of Anderson's knee and quickly stomps on the back of the knee, causing Anderson to scream. Lethal is seen cringing while watching the stomp. Graves lays the leg down and hits a knee drop to the back of the leg and he stays on the leg.

He grabs the leg and leans as far back as possible. Graves stares at Lethal while having the submission locked in. Anderson elbows Graves in the back of the head, which causes Graves to release the hold. Anderson gets up by using the ropes while holding his knee.

Graves gets to his feet in the corner. They meet in the center of the ring and enter a collar and elbow tie up. Anderson quickly grabs the head of Graves and he turns him over to where Graves is looking up at the lights and Anderson drops him with a neckbreaker. Anderson gets to his knees next to Graves and grabs the head.

Anderson lifts his Graves' head up and slams it into the mat. Anderson covers him.

*1. Graves kicks out quickly.*

Anderson quickly picks Graves up into a front facelock. Anderson throws Graves' arm over his head and hits a snap suplex. Anderson stands up and quickly stomps on the head of Graves. Anderson goes to pick Graves up by the head but Graves grabs Anderson's legs and trips him.

Graves stands up and performs a spinning toe hold and jumps straight into a grounded side headlock. Anderson lifts his legs and places Graves in a headscissors. Anderson lift his leg and drops it on the nose of Graves. Anderson stands up while Graves grabs his nose.

Anderson grabs Graves by the head and picks him up. He places Graves' head inbetween his legs. He starts lifting Graves for a piledriver but Graves plants his feet. Graves lifts Anderson up in position for a double leg slam but he turns it into a fireman's carry hold.

Graves tosses Anderson up and drops him with a backbreaker. Graves drops to his knee and pins Anderson.

*1... Anderson kicks out quickly.*

Graves grabs the leg of Anderson. Graves steps over the leg and drops down with a leg breaker. Anderson sits up and holds his knee in pain. Graves quickly kicks Anderson in the face.

Graves exits the ring to the apron. He climbs onto the top rope and waits for Anderson to get to his feet. Graves goes for a double axe handle but Anderson catches him in an inverted atomic drop and quickly turns it into a spinning spinebuster. Anderson covers Graves.

*1...2.. Graves barely kicks out.*

Anderson stands up and lifts Graves to his feet. Anderson goes to whip Graves off the ropes but Graves reverses with a whip of his own. Graves sets up for a back body drop but Anderson stops himself and quickly lifts Graves in a powerbomb position. Anderson backs up a little.

Anderson starts running and hits a sitout powerbomb into a pin.

*1...2.. Graves barely kicks out again.*

Anderson slaps the mat in anger. Anderson stands up and waits for Graves to stand up. Anderson goes for a superkick but Graves catches the leg. Graves spins Anderson around and quickly hits a bridging dragon suplex.

*1...2.. Anderson barely manages to kick out.*

They both get up at the same time. Anderson runs at Graves but Graves grabs the legs and trips Anderson. Graves quickly locks in Lucky 13 (Inverted Figure Four Leglock). lethal starts to panic outside the ring.

Anderson starts to panic and he has no choice but to Tap Out.

WINNER by SUMBISSION - Corey Graves

*Graves exits the ring while Lethal slides his crutches into the ring and he rolls in himself. He slides to Anderson who is holding his knee. Lethal asks Anderson if he's ok. Graves slides into the ring and waits in the corner.

Lethal uses his crutches to get to his feet. Lethal turns around. Graves runs and hits a chop block to the front of the injured knee of Lethal, knocking Lethal down. Lethal screams and grabs his injured leg.

Graves places his fists next to each other and points them at Lethal. Graves yells "Stay Down" before his music starts playing. Graves exits the ring.*

Rich Brennan: What a dispicable act by Graves. What kind of person does that to another human being?

Byron Saxton: All I have to say is that he is called the "Savior of Misbehavior" for a reason. He is not a nice guy and he'll be the first to tell you that.

Renee Young: I don't understand Corey Graves at all. Why is he now showing this kind of aggression and anger?

Rich Brennan: Well, earlier he said he was sitting at home watching people get, and I quote, the opputunities he deserves. Maybe he's jealous of the former NXT Champion Adrian Neville who Graves was NXT Tag Team Champions with? I mean, after Graves got injured Neville became NXT Champion rather quickly.

Renee Young: That's a great point, Rich.

Rich Brennan: I believe it's time we move on. Last week we saw The Ascension go against the World's Greatest Tag Team, Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin. The Ascension came out with the victory which I would assume puts them in close contention of the Proving Ground Tag Team titles. Tonight we just might see another team move into contention when we see the International Airstrike face The Motor City Machine Guns.

That match will take place after the break.

International Airstrike vs. Motor City Machine Guns

Sabin and Gabriel start off the match for their respective teams. Gabriel goes for a shoot kick to the leg but Sabin does a shoot kick to the leg as a counter. Gabriel rubs his leg before entering a side headlock on Sabin. Sabin backs into the ropes and pushes Gabriel off them.

Gabriel rebounds off the ropes and knocks Sabin down with a shoulder block. Gabriel runs the ropes but Sabin rolls to his stomach, causing Gabriel to jump over and continue running. Sabin stands up and performs a leapfrog as Gabriel rebounds, causing him to keep running. Sabin jumps up for a dropkick but Gabriel grabs the ropes to stop himself, causing Sabin to land on his back.

Gabriel bounces off the ropes but Sabin gets his feet up while on the ground to perform a monkey flip to Gabriel, but Gabriel manages to land on his feet. Gabriel contiues running and Sabin rolls to his stomach, causing Gabriel to jump over him again and keep running. Sabin stands up but Grabriel hits Sabin with a tilt-a-whirl DDT. Sabin grabs his head and rolls to his own corner and tags in Shelley.

Shelley enters the ring and points at Kidd. Gabriel turns and tags Kidd in. Kidd and Shelley start to circle the ring. Kidd goes for a quick clothesline but Shelley ducks and places Kidd in a waist lock. Shelley runs into the ropes and goes for a back roll pin but Kidd grabs the ropes, causing Shelley to roll backwards into a seated position.

Kidd turns around and goes for a roundhouse kick but Shelley dodges by laying on his back, causing Kidd to spin around. Shelley grabs Kidd and uses a schoolboy to roll Kidd into a kneeling position. Shelley goes for a shoot kick to the chest but Kidd catches the leg. Kidd gets to a standing position.

Shelley jumps up for an enzuigiri but Kidd ducks, causing Shelley to land on his chest. Kidd crosses the legs and moves to the side of Shelley. Kidd presses his knees on the back of Shelley and he grabs Shelley by the head. Kidd goes to his back, placing Shelley in a bow and arrow.

Shelley quickly rolls out of the hold, going straight into a cover on Kidd.

*1... Kidd kicks out.*

Both men get up. Kidd grabs Shelley by the arm and whips him into the corner. Kidd runs and seems to go for a clothesline but Shelley moves out out the way, causing Kidd to go chest first into the corner. Shelley goes to the opposite corner while Kidd turns around.

Shelley runs and hits a double high knee in he corner. He grabs Kidd by the head and Shelley turns his back to the turnbuckles. Shelley quickly hits a reverse STO into the second turnbuckle. Shelley stands up while keeping hold of Kidd and hits an STO.

Shelley drags Kidd towards Sabin. He lifts Kidd to his feet and he tags in Sabin. Sabin enters and they both whip Kidd off the ropes. On the rebound Shelley hits him with an inverted atomic drop.

Shelley moves out of the way so Sabin can hit Kidd with a dropkick to the knee. Shelley moves to the legs of Kidd and locks in an inverted STF. Sabin runs off the ropes and hits a front dropkick to the face of Kidd and Shelley lets go of the hold to roll out of the ring. Sabin covers Kidd.

*1...2.. Kidd kicks out.*

Sabin lifts Kidd to his feet but Kidd quickly hits a shoot kick to the leg of Sabin. Kidd follows with a shoot kick to the chest and then another shoot kick to the leg. He jumps up and drops Sabin with a back kick, which causes Sabin to bounce off the ropes. Kidd hits a snapmare off the rebound, sending Sabin to a seated position.

He hits a shoot kick to the back. Kidd tags in Gabriel. Gabriel enters the ring while Kidd lifts Sabin to a standing position. Gabriel hits Sabin with a spin kick to the gut, causing him to bend over.

Kidd runs off the ropes and hits a front dropkick to the side of the head, knocking Sabin down to a kneeling position. Gabriel follows up with an enzuigiri. Gabriel covers Sabin.

*1...2.. Sabin kicks out.*

Gabriel lifts Sabin to his feet and he whips him off the ropes. Gabriel sets up for a back body drop but Sabin stops himself. Sabin places Gabriel's head inbetween his legs and lifts Gabriel up. Sabin drops Gabriel with a release powerbomb.

Sabin slowly walks to his corner and tags in Shelley. Shelley enters the ring while Sabin goes to the apron. Shelley lifts Gabriel to his feet. He places Gabriel in a front facelock and hooks the leg to hit the Golden Gate Swing (Swinging Fisherman Suplex).

Shelley runs at the ropes and he jumps onto the second rope. Shelley goes for the springboard moonsault but Gabriel rolls out of the way but Shelley manages to land on his feet. Gabriel stands up only to be caught by a superkick, knocking him down. He rolls Gabriel over into a single leg boston crab.

Kidd quickly enters the ring and hits Shelley with an enzuigiri, knocking Shelley out of the hold. Sabin enters the ring and drops Kidd with a bicycle kick. He picks Kidd up by the head. He tosses Kidd out of the ring and waits for Kidd to get up.

Sabin runs off the ropes and hits the Leap of Faith (Suicide Dive). Sabin quickly gets to the apron. Shelley tags in Sabin and Sabin moves to the top rope. Shelley picks Gabriel up and turns him into a neckbreaker position.

Sabin dives off the top rope with a crossbody on Gabriel, finishing the Skull and Bones (Falling Neckbreaker, Diving Crossbody Combination). Sabin covers Gabriel.

*1...2...3!*

WINNERS by PINFALL - Motor City Machine Guns

Rich Brennan: What a match between these two great teams.
Byron Saxton: Before the match started we thought only the winners would be in contention for the tag titles but I think that after that match, both teams could very well be in contention. Great performance.
Renee Young: I think both teams looked strong tonight.
Rich Brennan: I agree with both of you but I've just received word that Devin Taylor has a special guest with her tonight.

*The camera cuts to backstage where Devin Taylor is seen holding a microphone.*

Devin Taylor: Ladies and gentleman, my guest at this time... Sami Zayn.

*Zayn walks on screen.*

Sami Zayn: Hello, Devin.
Devin Taylor: Sami, last week you faced Kevin Steen and after the match you and Steen pointed at each other. Can you tell us what that was about?
Sami Zayn: Well, me and Kevin have had respect for each other for a long time and have been friends for even longer and it was simply us showing respect to each other. With us, a handshake isn't the only thing that can show respect. Even a simple point of a finger can mean a lot.
Devin Taylor: Later tonight Sami, you face Ted DiBiasie, Jr. in the main event. How do you feel going into that match?
Sami Zayn: I've never wrestled him before but I've seen his matches and I think me and him could have a great match when given the chance and tonight we get that chance.

*Kevin Steen walks on screen.*

Kevin Steen: Sami, I've been wanting to talk to you. A minute ago you mentioned the respect we have for each other. You were right, I've respected you for as long as I can remember and as a token of that respect I would love to be in your corner tonight. What do you say, Sami?
Sami Zayn: I would love nothing more than to have you in my corner, man.

*They shake hands. Both of them walk off screen.*

Devin Taylor: Back to you guys at ringside.

*The camera cuts to ringside.*

Rich Brennan: Up next we will see LuFisto face off against "The Boss of Proving Ground" Sasha Banks. That happens next once we return to Proving Ground.

*"Miss Murder" by AFI begins to play as LuFisto walks onto the stage. She walks down he ramp and rolls into the ring.*

*"Sky's The Limit" by CFO$ plays while Sasha Banks steps onto the stage wearing her Shutter Shades and Jacket. She walks down the ramp and walks up the steps. She enters the ring and performs her signature pose before taking off her Shutter Shades.

LuFisto vs. Sasha Banks

They meet in the center of the ring and exchange words. While LuFisto is talking, Banks puts her hand in LuFisto's face. LuFisto quickly slaps the hand out of the way and they go face to face. Banks slaps LuFisto in the face, causing LuFisto to turn around and hold her face.

Banks turns around and taunts the crowd with her signature pose. She turns around only to be hit by a front dropkick from LuFisto, knocking Banks into the corner. Banks runs out of the corner but LuFisto hits a side headlock takedown and she keeps hold. Banks reaches her legs up and places LuFisto in a headscissors.

LuFisto transitions to her knees and moves to the side of Banks' legs. LuFisto rolls forward into a handspring kip up out of the headscissors. Banks gets to her feet. LuFisto locks in a front facelock.

Banks reaches down at LuFisto's legs and trips her. Banks drops to her knees and hits several forearms to the face of LuFisto. She lifts LuFisto to her feet before whipping LuFisto off the ropes. On the rebound Banks hits a japanese arm drag and LuFisto quickly gets to her feet.

Banks runs at LuFisto but LuFisto jumps up for a hurricanrana straight into a pin.

*1.. Banks turns it into a sunset pin.*

*1.. LuFisto rolls backwards out of the pin*

LuFisto stands up and grabs the legs and stomps on the gut of Banks. LuFisto goes to the side of Banks and stomps on the shoulder multiple times. She lifts Banks to her feet. LuFisto hits several forearm smashes until Banks is backed into the corner.

LuFisto kicks Banks in the gut multiple times until she's in a seated position. LuFisto runs off the ropes and hits the facewash to the face of Banks. Banks rolls out of the ring while holding her nose. LuFisto runs off the ropes and hits a suicide dive, causing Banks to crash into the steel barricade.

Both of them are down while the ref begins the 10 count. LuFisto uses the barricade to stand up while the ref reaches the count of 6. She picks Banks up and rolls her into the ring. LuFisto slides into the ring and covers Banks.

*1...2. Banks kicks out.*

She lifts Banks to her feet. LuFisto goes to whip Banks into the corner but Banks reverses with a hard whip into the corner, causing LuFisto to go chest first into the corner. LuFisto turns around. Banks walks towards LuFisto and LuFisto goes for a front dropkick from the corner but Banks catches the legs.

Banks throws the legs inbetween the ropes, causing LuFisto to turn slightly. Banks hits a forearm to the face of LuFisto before laying LuFisto across the second turnbuckle. Banks jumps and hits a double knee drop to the gut of LuFisto, causing LuFisto to drop to the mat. Banks covers her.

*1...2.. LuFisto kicks out.*

Banks quickly moves to the head and places LuFisto in a seated position. Banks crosses LuFisto's arms, placing her in a straight jacket submission. Banks presses her knee into the back of LuFisto. LuFisto struggles.

LuFisto gets to one foot before standing on both feet. LuFisto turns to where Banks' arms are crossed. She pulls Banks into a front facelock and hooks the leg. LuFisto lifts Banks up onto her legs and hits the cradle DDT.

She covers Banks.

*1...2.. Banks barely kicks out.*

LuFisto picks Banks up to her feet but Banks knees LuFisto in the gut. Banks crosses LuFisto's arms and sets up for Bankrupt (Double Handcuffed Neckbreaker). LuFisto quickly twists out of it, causing Banks to turn around, and LuFisto connects with the Mangalizer (Swinging Reverse STO). She pins Banks.

*1...2...3!*

WINNER by PINFALL - LuFisto

*The camera cuts to a black screen. A black figure is shown standing with white smoke behind them with a spotlight on them. The only thing visible is green streaks in the figure's hair. A word fades beside the figure in a green font the reads "Desecrate" and it fades way.

Another words fades on the side in the same font that reads "Obliterate" and it fades away. This time two words fade onto the screen and they read "She's Coming". The camera cuts to the announcer's table.*

Rich Brennan: I wonder what that was about.
Renee Young: Desecrate? Obliterate? Whoever that woman is, she sounds like someone I don't want to mess with.
Rich Brennan: Well, it seems we will know pretty soon. Moving on, Devin Taylor is waiting with another guest in the interview area.

*The camera cuts to Devin Taylor standing backstage.*

Devin Taylor: Thanks, Rich. My guest at this time is Johnny Gargano.

*Johnny Gargano walks on screen in his ring gear with a grey T-Shirt on.*

Devin Taylor: Johnny, this isn't your first time being in the WWE but this will be the first time you've been in WWE long-term. How do you feel being in WWE now?
Johnny Gargano: I feel like I was meant to be here. I worked my ass off in the independents to be here. Like you said, this isn't the first time I've been here but I am here to stay this time around. I don't care what anyone else thinks because I will be headlining WrestleManias and I will be main eventing episodes of High Voltage and that's because of one reason.

That reason is that I am the Bee's knee, the Cat's pajamas, and the whole shabang and no one can disagree with that.

*Johnny Gargano walks off screen. The camera cuts to ringside.*

Rich Brennan: Ladies and gentlemen, the main event takes place right after this quick break.

Rich Brennan: Welcome back everybody! We are setting up for the main event of the evening.

*"I Come From Money" by S-Preme" starts to play. Ted DiBiase walks onto the stage and points at the crowd before walking down the ramp. He starts walking towards the steps and quickly jumps onto the apron. He enters the ring and gets on the second rope in the corner.

He points at himself before pointing at the crowd. He jumps off the second rope.*

*Worlds Apart" by CFO$ starts playing as Sami Zayn and Kevin Steen walk onto the stage. Zayn dances a little before walking down the ramp. While walking down the ramp he claps a couple times. He walks onto the steps and claps and throws his arms in the air to pump up the crowd.

He enters the ring.*

Ted DiBiase, Jr. vs. Sami Zayn W/ Kevin Steen

They meet in the center of the ring and shake hands. They begin to circle the ring. Zayn raises his right hand, calling for a test of strength. DiBiase raises his hand and they lace their fingers together and they do the same with their other hand. Zayn starts pushing DiBiase down to the mat but DiBiase gets back to a standing position.

DiBiase overpowers Zayn and pushes Zayn's hands down to he mat. DiBiase quickly performs a double stomp to the hands of Zayn. Zayn gets to a seated position and shakes his hands. DiBiase puts his hands on Zayn's Shoulders and hits a knee to the back. He pushes Zayn to his back.

He goes to the side of Zayn. DiBiase connects with an elbow drop and he quickly gets up. He drops another elbow drop and gets up again. He goes for a jumping elbow drop but Zayn rolls out of the way. DiBiase holds his elbow.

Zayn stands up and lifts DiBiase to a kneeling position. He grabs the arm and straightens it out. Zayn knees DiBiase in the elbow before hitting an elbow drop on the arm, knocking DiBiase to the mat. He turns DiBiase over and places him in a seated position.

He hits a shoot kick to the back of DiBiase before laying him on his back. Zayn moves to the side of DiBiase and hits a standing moonsault straight into a pin.

*1.. DiBiase kicks out quickly.*

Zayn gets up and climbs onto the top rope and waits for DiBiase to get to his feet. Zayn dives off with a crossbody but DiBiase manages to roll it into a fallaway hold. DiBiase stands up while still holding onto Zayn. DiBiase lifts Zayn onto his shoulders and connects with a single knee gutbuster.

DiBiase covers Zayn.

*1.. Zayn kicks out.*

DiBiase quickly mounts on Zayn and he starts punching Zayn in the face and then switches to forearm strikes. He gets off of Zayn and places him in a seated position before locking in a reverse chinlock. Zayn struggles a bit before getting to one knee. He quickly gets to both feet and elbows DiBiase in the gut.

Zayn goes for another elbow but DiBiase slams Zayn down with a mat slam. DiBiase follows up with a jumping elbow drop. DiBiase quickly sands up after shaking his arm and goes to the head of Zayn. DiBiase drops down with a fist drop.

He lifts Zayn to a standing position. He goes to whip Zayn off the ropes but Zayn reverses with a whip of his own. Zayn hits a clothesline off the rebound but DiBiase quickly gets up and runs at Zayn. Zayn catches him in a arm drag and DiBiase quickly gets up again.

He runs at Zayn again but gets caught in another arm drag but quickly gets up once again. He grabs Zayn and whips him off the ropes. On the rebound Zayn hooks the arm of DiBiase and moves behind him to hook the other arm and hits a third arm drag. DiBiase slowly gets to his feet.

Zayn runs off the ropes and DiBiase tosses Zayn into the air but Zayn hits a dropkick to DiBiase on the way down. DiBiase rolls towards the corner. Zayn goes to the opposite corner and waits for DiBiase to get up. Zayn runs at DiBiase and goes for the Helluva Kick (Running Corner Big Boot) but DiBiase moves out of the way, causing Zayn to get his leg hung up on the top rope.

DiBiase gets behind Zayn and places him in a half nelson and pulls him out of the corner. DiBiase tosses Zayn up in the air and drops him in a backbreaker. He covers Zayn.

*1...2. Zayn kicks out.*

DiBiase stands up and goes to the legs of Zayn. He goes to hook the legs but Zayn kicks him away, causing DiBiase to fall through the ropes and to the outside. Zayn waits for DiBiase to get up. Zayn runs off the ropes and hits a picture perfect somersault plancha over the ropes.

Zayn goes to pick up DiBiase but DiBiase pushes Zayn back first into the apron. Zayn holds his back while DiBiase rolls him into the ring. He lifts Zayn into a standing position. He goes to whip Zayn off the ropes but Zayn reverses with a whip of his own.

Zayn goes for a clothesline but DiBiase ducks and keeps running the ropes. On the second rebound Zayn goes for a whip but DiBiase turns it into a whip of his own, sending Zayn off the ropes. On the rebound DiBiase hits a sitout spinebuster and puts Zayn in a sunset pin.

*1...2.. Zayn turns it into a rana pin.*

*1...2.. DiBiase goes back to a sunset pin.*

*1...2.. Zayn rolls backwards out of the pin and performs a jacknife pin.*

*1...2.. DiBiase barely kicks out.*

They both stand up. Zayn kicks DiBiase in the gut and goes to whip DiBiase into the corner but DiBiase reverses with a whip of his own into the corner. DiBiase runs but Zayn catches him in an exploder suplex into the turnbuckles. Zayn stands up and lifts DiBiase up into a wrist-lock.

Zayn runs at the corner and goes for the Springboard Tornado DDT but DiBiase manages to stay on his feet, holding Zayn. DiBiase tosses Zayn up a little and hits an inverted atomic drop. DiBiase shoves Zayn, causing him to roll backwards into a standing position. Zayn runs at DiBiase and goes for clothesline but DiBiase ducks, causing Zayn to keep running.

When Zayn rebounds, DiBiase runs off the same set of ropes. Zayn stops himself in the center of the ring and turns around while DiBiase goes for the clothesline but Zayn catches him in a Reverse STO. Zayn quickly turns it into the Koji Clutch. DiBiase quickly Taps Out.

WINNER by SUBMISSION - Sami Zayn

*Zayn celebrates in the corner. DiBiase slowly gets to his feet. DiBiase claps while Zayn is on the second rope and looking at the crowd. Steen slides into the ring and kicks DiBiase in the gut and quickly hits the Package Piledriver.

Zayn hears the thud and steps off the second rope. Zayn sees Steen standing while DiBiase is down the mat. Zayn asks "what happened?" to Steen. Steen says "he was going to attack you, I've got your back."

Zayn nods and says "thanks, man" to Steen. Steen grabs Zayn by the wrist and raises Zayn's arm while Zayn's theme song begins to play.*

Rich Brennan: I think I heard Kevin Steen say that Ted DiBiase was going to attack Sami Zayn. It looked, to me, like DiBiase was actually congratulating Zayn. How about you guys?
Renee Young: I agree with you, I didn't see any reason for Steen to attack DiBiase. I honestly don't know what to think.
Byron Saxton: Both of you are wrong. You guys didn't see the look in DiBiase's eyes that I saw. I think Steen was simply protecting his friend, nothing more.
Rich Brennan: I guess we'll just to wait and see. Ladies and gentleman, we are out of time for tonight and we will see you next week on WWE Proving Ground.

*The end show logo pops up in the corner of the screen as the screen goes black. The WWE Logo fades onto the screen.*
