First off, this is a privilege and a cool idea that somebody (not sure who, as I was gone when it was started. Maybe IDK or Grift?) came up with on the 2k forums, I just decided we could do a little RWF variation of it, and some twists. The following are MANDATORY rules to follow if you feel like posting at all in the section.
Secondly, this is a fun little thing we can do. So, below are some fun options and ideas for you to try if you wish.
1. Any normal news or rumors are fine to post whenever, by whomever.
2. Spoilers, I'm completely okay with posting here. Please, if you do this, follow the guidelines given here:
a. Put "SPOILERS" somewhere in the title of the thread.
b. In the first post, write SPOILERS at the very top, before any of the "news" part of the thread.
c. Any spoilers given in the thread (even in the first post), must be put within spoiler tags.
If these rules are not followed, you will no longer be able to post in this section of the forum.
3. Please, nobody take offense at anything here. This is supposed to be like an actual news site. Just like in real life, some of the "news" will purposely be "changed" or "influenced" for the sake of excitement or fun, or just a neat little thing to add to it. Don't take offense to anything. If for some reason you think that somebody's being rude to you and not doing it in character, please message somebody with authority and they will probably take care of it for you if they feel the same.
4. Have fun! If there are more mandatory rules later on, I'll add them.

Secondly, this is a fun little thing we can do. So, below are some fun options and ideas for you to try if you wish.
1. You can always ask for an alter to be created for a "journalist" for you to use all of your news on. I have one, as Cody LaVancha, and I plan on using it in every news thread I make. Think of the news section as a neat little spinoff of the RWF, but there is no winning or losing, it's all fun just fun.
2. Try choosing a gimmick for your journalist. There are so many gimmicks used in journalism, no matter what the news is about. Sometimes they're more truthful gimmicks (for example, radical democrats will love every democratic, but attack everything Republican). There are gimmicks used in all types of news, whether it be radicals, comical, mocking, positive, negative....try creating a "journalist gimmick" for yourself.
3. Not all of the news has to be true. Think of it as like a real news site. Have people guessing whether things are true or not. MAKE THEM THINK TWICE. Make them believe your lies (or maybe your truths, who knows besides yourself?). Enjoy the game and make it a fun little side activity for us to try.
4. I'll add more if I get more ideas. You're welcome to give me ideas below, if you wish.
