I May have to start reviewing a Game, maybe WWE 13, or 12. What do you think of the gimmicks i do in a review? (This is a question to everyone. Because if no-on likes it, then i will not continue doing it.) It's nice, though I feel it would work better if it was, like a TV Show, I just think it would translate better on video. BTW, is the green guy your Greg? |

This is SPARATAAAAA ...really. Now you use a meme that has been used more times then the like button on Facebook? Anyways, this is my review of Contra on the NES. 1..2.. You dead.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Story:If you get the story from the game... well, good for you. Anyways, the story they wanted was that aliens attacked the earth, and you/you and your friend are the only people that can stop them. Now, for this review, i took down my nostalgia glasses, and all. So i'm as non-biased as a man can be. I just try to rate it from both sides. Because if i would compare it to new games, then it would have the worst ratings ever. Anyways, ratings: +Pretty good for a game that came out in the 70'-80' -It's basically the movie Alien(s) +Needs the use of creativity. A thing, kids today forgot about.
7/10------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gameplay:+On a console's controller, that has only two buttons.. yeah, this game is one of the best. (Okay, on of the best is too much, but still, it uses what it can.) +Responsible controls. Thight, and responsible controls. Some of the newer 2D games lack this. 10/10

Remember what i said about Battleblock Theatre? Yeah, multiply that by 10. Even with the Konami code, which gives you 30, the game is hard. +Difficulty, that will make you rage quit, but once you played through the game once, you'll want to play it again. -("WHY DO I DIE ALLWAYS?!?! I JUST WANT TO FINISH THIS FREAKING GAME. Oh, so it only has 8 levels?" Complex. Thing's not good) 5/10

Still one of the best soundtracks i ever heard. It just gives you the feeling that you're on a misson to save the earth. And that's exactly what it should do. I don't need to add points of explanation. 10/10

Not the best game in this generation, but it can still fight. And i give this game a Completionist rating of: Complay it!

ati, have you ever played the game Banjo-Kazooie or Banjo-Tooie originally for the N64, now on the Xbox 360 Live Arcade? I've played Kazooie on emulator, on PC, and played Tooie's XBL demo. So yes. I would say that i could write a revie of Tooie, but i got stuck at the zombie king. Then i got angry at the ads and i was "I could play through the game on my PC" and deleted it. So yeah, if you'd give me time, i could review either of those games... ...in the next 10 years.... (I'm really, really bad at them) |

This is be my review of Banjo-Kazooie... or well, a part of it. BEARS! And now, you're stealing jokes too. Great...
Day 1: The Tutorial (I'm using "days' as parts, and for a matter of days, i will only rate the story and characters. The only aspects of the game will come in the end.)
Story:
So the story, so far, from what i get is this:
You are a redneck bear named Banjo, who likes to play on a Banjo... Great work with the naming Rare guys. Great freaking work.
Then you have his friend who lives with him Kazooie. Who i thought is a guy.. but now i don't know... Kazooie is Lady Gaga!
So... anyways, one day, the evil with Gruntilda steals your sister Tootie, who i call Cutie for whatever reason. Because she is jealous of Tootie's prettiness. So you and Lady GaKazooie go on an adventure to save her.
+Good story so far. I find it pretty interesting.

Characters:
To be honest, my favorite character is Gruntilda. Why? Because i play with no sounds (Don't worry, i'll either listen to the songs on Youtube, or play a part of them so i can rate them.) and i feel like she's rappin' all the time. MC Grunter what did you just say? Anyways... do you want to do this, Jack? Sure. Banjo is... he just... feels dumb. He's just a redneck... BEAR! HE'S A BEAR! TOOTIE IS A BEAR TOO! Man, calm down. No need to BEARS, BEARS EVERYWHERE! Are you done? No... but i'll try to be calm. Okay. So... There's Tootie, who... we don't know a lot about... only that she.. Don't you dare say a bear, and then go apeshit crazy... A girl. Alright? I didn't say that she's a bear, but since we're here... SHE'S A BEAR! Would you just stop? Okay. I guess. I'll stop. So. There's Bottles, the Mole. Who helps you through the tutorial, and plays Family Feud with Lady GaKazooie. Lady GaKazooie is... some type of a bird.... don't ask us what. She's just, some bird.
+Good Characters, with personalities

Our ... okay, our review of Gotham City Impostors.... but, hey Jack, why don't you take it? You're the joker of this team after all. What are you trying to say, Ninjo?-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Story:
No such thing exists in the game. You will not find one. Never. Or, maybe there is. The story, if that can even be said to be stories is this:
Batman and Joker are such lazy asses that they want normal humans to fight for them. ..scratch that, crazy humans to fight for them.-No story. Or if there is, they don't tell you. This has worse storytelling than Contra.
+You can make up your own stories for the game, i guess.
-the story will suck whatever you do in, and with them. The enemy team will always kill you, because i didn't said this already, but the game is MULITPLAYER FREAKING ONLY!3/10

Actually, the gameplay is not that bad. For an FPS, it's pretty good.+Prety good controls. I can't really complain.
-But let me try anyway. If you're not lucky, you will never turn. Like me. Yeah, i've seen the Batman that was shooting me in the corner, then why does it take three centuries for me to turn to my freaking left?5/10

Yes you heard me right. This game has virtual currency. Yes, you could get 10 wins just for a pair of shoes, but they want you to pay. Not to be confused with DLC. This bonus is in the game. The bonus content are:
New character body types (Can only be bought by earning a "buy-one-___ free ticket". It'll say what you can buy on it.)
New weapons (See above)
Clothes (all to be bought by VC)
And bonus items, that can help you in combat, like Shurikens, or a Katana. (See "New Character Body types")+The bonus items kinda help this out.
-Items you can only buy with VC.
-Shitting ticket you get only once in a century.3/10

Banjo-Kazooie

Day 2: Mumbo's Mountain. (I listened to the music, and will rate that too.)
Now that i am here, it looks like i can't do what i wanted (only story/character development and then everything else in the last part/day.) so looks like i'll rate the levels themselves.

Level Design:
The level design was weird at first, but then i got it. You need to give a weird level, to a weird character. Because if you don't his weirdness will turn into awkwardness. Let me introduce you, Mumbo Jumbo the "Best shaman in game" as he says. He's the weirdest speaking character in-game so far. Not counting... Don't you dare, say it. ... THE BEARS! Could we go to the ratings before i kill Jack?
+Good choice of level design. Fits the character.
-The design can be confusing at first.

Not much happened in the story since the tutorial. Other than the introduction of Mumbo. So i'll just rate this part without much talking.
